Kennett Country Club

The Mixed Scramble golf tournament at Kennett Country Club is coming up this weekend on Saturday June 3rd and Sunday June 4th.  At this time, there are still slots available in both the morning and afternoon groups.  

The entry fee is $120.00 per team and includes a meal after play is completed on Saturday afternoon as well as entertainment provided by Lee and Larry Hufford’s Sound Connection.  Even if you are not participating in the tournament, all members and their guests are invited to come out for the Saturday evening entertainment. Golfers, another important date to make note of, is Thursday, June 1st, 2006.  This is the cutoff date to signup for the qualifying rounds to particpate in the 2006 Semo Cup.  Click the following link for more detailed information on the KCC Semo Cup team and qualifying procedures.  Contact Mike or Vicki at the KCC Pro Shop at (573) 888-9945 for more information or to signup for the qualifying rounds.

The 2006 Memorial Day Scramble tournament was held at Kennett Country Club on Monday May 29th, 2006. The scramble tournament format was a 4 person scramble composed of two couples using a combination of handicaps from the Wenesday night scramble competitions. 14 teams participated in this year’s Memorial Day Scramble tournament. There were two flights based on the modified handicap - tournament results are listed below:

Kennett Country Club hosted 24 teams in the 2006 2 Man Best Ball Golf tournament on Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th.  Weather conditions were slightly chilly with overcast skies the majority of both days, and the rain stayed away for all but the last few holes of the Saturday afternoon round. Despite less than ideal playing conditions, there was still exceptional scoring in the tournament both days.  Flight scoring and winners are listed below:

Kennett Country Club offers congratulations to the winners this year and looks forward to another successful Best Ball tournament next year.  In addition to his team placing second in Championship flight, Jerry Noble carded a Ace on the par-3 11th hole during the tournament.  KCC offers its congratulations to Jerry Noble for the Hole-In-One!
